i suck at introductions but hello everybody. i've posted in here before a couple of months back, but since then my friends updates have grown kind of few.

my interests include anime, video games, music, and a lot of other things just ask.

my favorite anime: rurouni kenshin, death note, slayers, yu-gi-oh!, naruto and a lot, lot more. for a complete list check out myanimelist http://myanimelist.net/animelist/razisgosu

my favorite music: i have a lot of different tastes in music from american, british, jrock/jpop, and some korean. but my favorite bands or artists would have to be T.M. Revolution, abingdon boys school, hawthorne heights, hide, despairs ray, dir en grey, bullet for my valentine and system of a down. there are a LOT more for my entire music list check out my http://www.last.fm/user/razistgamer

my favorite video games: i really only play a few games right now such as world of warcraft, warcraft 3 the frozen throne, a couple of ps2 games, and i still love my old snes.

my journal usually includes what i do in life. i update usually once or twice a week. there are occasional emo entries but not too too often. i will usually write about my friends and what i do with them. if i seem like a person you'd get along with and would like to friend, then comment me please!

Suggestion Update:

You all may recall that I submitted a suggestion to the LiveJournal suggestion community, imploring LJ to suspend users who incorrectly use quotation marks for emphasis rather than, say, quoting. Today I got the following e-mail:

Well, it was worth a try.

I met up (quite unexpectedly) with [info]dorrottka and her beau ;) on Sunday. I had a great time and I'm glad I got to see her and meet him ^o^ I also got a present from Ireland^^ - Jelly Beans *____* they are SO sweet, I ate like half of the box at once and I was like O_O haha jelly beans = evil! XDDD (and addictive)

my "professional" life is going very well at the moment, today I submitted a commission I got the other day and the guy paid me immediately and he paid MORE than we had agreed upon because I delivered the translation before the deadline and it was very readable^______^> I was so glad cause when I'm translating into English I always think it sounds so artificial... but apparently it wasnt that bad^_^ yay
and tomorrow I'm going to Warsaw instead of going to school cause my friend handed me over her interpreting commission (she has no time to do it herself), apparently it's gonna be business talks between two guys, I'm terrified but also quite excited. Also I'll get paid like a LOT (well standard rate but .. well it IS a LOT) ... I probably wont be able to fall asleep lol. I'm going tomorrow before 6 AM(takes 3 hrs to get to Warsaw). Woah...
Serves me well for not having bought appropriate, mid-heel pumps cause it seems I'll have to stick the whole day to my 10cm-heels cause I dont have any other shoes suitable AND comfortable enough... uhm oO I dress in many various styles, but I don't have anything remotely formal, apart from the dress I bought for my thesis defence, but it's only suitable for occasions like this or a theatre, certainly not business talks lol. Well... maybe it would've been ok but it's also a bit on the shorter side lol

P.S. I like Acid Pops.

I read something the other day about online security, about how to keep your identity safe. It had all of the usual 'change your password regularly', 'look for https at the start of the website address to show that it's secure when entering details', 'change your security settings so that only people you know have your email address', 'don't tell people when you're on holiday',  things like that.

And towards the bottom of the article, it said to never tell anybody what your mother's maiden name is, or your birthday. I don't have a problem with the maiden name part (I don't even use that as my security question, but I still wouldn't shout about what it is), but apparently banks and things use your date of birth to confirm things.

But the thing is, I want people to see when my borthday is. I like the feeling I get when people are happy for me ^_^ is that too much to ask?

In case anybody was wondering, it's the 20th December. And I have a wishlist on hmv if you would like me to email it to you xP

Besides, anybody impersonating me may know my date of birth, but if they come under scrutiny they'll never pass. They won't know my favourite flavour of jam.

The Price.

Okay, I came here to explain what happened that night. The problem is, I think the truth might freak you out. But you deserve to know. I owe you that much. There’s always a price.

Today was looking like a loser to begin with. Despite the sunshine, the bad things included my mother starting the day with a discussion about money - which worries me to the point of actual vomiting these days - and no one being in the entire building, let alone the office.

But, at least it's going to end on a positive note or two. I've lost another 7lbs in the last five days, so hoorah. And we've booked our time off for a dirty (long) weekend in Edinburgh at the end of June. We know how to have a good time.

Things that would make today even better are: a new job, a really good workout, and vampires.

Those last two need a little motivation. The first one I can't do anything more than I already have done except go and start banging on doors.

I'm not that desperate yet.

Screw work, I'm going to the beach.

I've been working on an epic novel on and off for years. It's set in the heart of the Appalachina mountains and it's about a family of mixed race folks working to make a betterworld in racist pre-civilwar Virginia, raising orchard produce and spirited horses. It's mostly the story of a new addition to the farm, her coming of age, etc...I've done loads of research about the region, the lives of folks in the 1850s and the upraisings that happened just before and during the civil war.  I think I have the "beat" for a great story.

It needs plenty of editing, and I need to find some readership.  Have I found the right group to re-open this project and find some much needed help?
